At each stage UPSC only gives the list of shortlisted candidates for the next round and not the marks obtained by a candidate and the cutoffs.

Only after the final results, UPSC declares the cut off marks for Prelims and Mains examinations, along with the overall cut off. This is followed by the detailed marksheet (Prelims + Mains + Interview) for those who appeared for Mains Examination and passed in the Qualifying papers (Regional language and English).

For selected candidates, service allocation is done by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) based on rank and category of the candidates.

Once the allocation is made, you have to wait for the official service allocation letter from DoPT via post and email.

Hereon, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration(LBSNAA) comes into the picture. LBSNAA begins registration process for Foundation Course (FC) of all the selected candidates and thus your training commences.
